Ricardo Almeida is the first ever American to be awarded a Black Belt in BJJ by Renzo Gracie. He is a veteran of the Ultimate Fighting Championships and Pride and won the prestigious Middleweight King of Pancrase. In addition to a successful fighting career, Ricardo has been successful in all levels of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling.

Since retiring from active MMA competition, Ricardo has dedicated himself full time to his students and the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
